This seems more a case of FPS's not being able to adequately simulate peripheral senses. The FOV in most games is still way smaller than many people in real life (especially the overpowered heroes in an action game), and the sound is not nearly 360 enough for you to properly hear and discern footsteps slowly coming…
I actually heard it's a good defense if you ever find yourself in such a terrible situation. Sharks don't often come across pray that can punch (just wriggle around or bite) so it shocks them and I think if you punch them in the nose it messes their senses up, as though you poked them in the eye.
can you clarify how this works... is it basically that you watch the ads, and they give you an amazon rental credit?
No, the best way to get discounts on a cruise is to be the CEO of a cruise line.
No printer is best. I'd've gotten a cheapo laser printer now for the rare times I need to print something out, but I literally found a working color inkjet/scanner on the curb. I bought cartridges for it and I'll just use that until the ink runs out.
Amazon Video on a PC is a fool's errand since you can't play movies in HD on PC. I'd rather play it on my tablet.
Sounds like a lot of commenters on here also believe in abstinence before marriage.
Or write fan fiction, wherein they can make people they don't know get engaged to other people they don't know.
your sentiments seem to contradict each other, unless the only thing you're really saying is "don't get in debt to begin with." which, hey, I agree, I've been debt free for 3 years now (positive net worth for 4) and I don't plan on buying a house for another 2 or 3 years, but let's be realistic here that most people…
We canceled our cable about a month ago, keeping only the internet, and luckily connecting the cable into our TV still gets us free HD broadcast channels (the same channels we'd be getting OTA, except OTA sucks here in LA). The last time we canceled our cable we were only getting SD channels.

Did you already have insurance or did you not? I have just-okay insurance (I'm under 30 and relatively healthy), so my deductibles are still pretty high. Will they negotiate on my out-of-pocket costs if I'm already paying based on the insurance's negotiated rate?
Does anyone feel like any one of these is significantly faster/more responsive than its peers? Both for in-network and for out-of-network?
I dunno, according to this and many other articles, they can.
Is there card counting? Every time I play blackjack that reshuffles each hand I feel like I'm regressing.
It's not a sustainable investment in the long run, since postage stamps increase in value at about the same pace as inflation. In your case you just bought too many stamps too soon, but unless you literally can't imagine running out stamps before you die, you may as well just keep them and slowly use them up.
Google doesn't make much (if any) money from Android, and that's how it'll be with Steam. They're selling a rock-solid game ecosystem for people who want more flexibility with their gaming but less hassle than building your own PC and dealing with Windows. Anyone who joins is automatically plugged into Steam's store.
I'm gonna admit, I don't know what this image refers to, but I think it's safe to assume that yes, John Oliver would not be able to shatter your TV screen by throwing a bottle cap at it.
