Ah, but as a conservative, according to the paper he's biologically wired to feel afraid and threatened. What's the liberal excuse?

The 5 would be a huge disappointment if it WASN'T a big leap, as iphones have always released alternating between a huge upgrade (iphone 1, iphone 3g, iphone4) and an incremental one (iphone 2g, iphone 3gs, iphone4s). I'm glad I jumped on the bandwagon with the 4, puts me in a prime position to upgrade to the 5.
My Macbook Pro with a Mini-Displayport to HDMI adapter is perfect for me... no need for an extra machine, and plays EVERYTHING, including random flash video over wifi. Of course I can't use my laptop at the same time (well, I could, but my cable's not long enough)
As the shine wore off as to the catalog of entries for streaming, and while their promised new deals touting much more content made available in the future still hasn't kicked in, I'm surprised streaming customers went UP and DVD customers went down. I feel like there continues to be more value in the DVD option for…
It's a show on PBS, cg animated kid's series about a family of Pteranodons and their adopted T-Rex cub, and each episode they learn about a different dinosaur or prehistoric concept. As a dinosaur-holic (especially as a kid) I think the show is a little too cute (unless they're eviscerating cuddly-wuddlies I think…
Your friends who see your Transformer are impressed in the 5 minutes they spend watching you use it. After that they would realize that there's not nearly enough apps to sustain longterm attention. Not that I don't like the Transformer, I think it's a really cool concept and there's a future in it, but the android…
Yup, just like many people don't realize that ancient Greek and Roman buildings were actually vibrantly (and subjectively, very ugly) colored and painted, black and white silent films were often colored by hand after the fact, often haphazardly.
I think it's more accurate to parse his statement as "we will continue to innovate and push ahead and not let the 'competition' distract us." Apple with the iPad still commands about a two year head start when it comes to the rest of the market and they can take risks innovating AND support their massive base at the…
But it might not be CG. If they shot a physical miniature, or used photo reference and composited it into the scene, it would just be computer composited, not computer generated. When they create the 3d model in the computer, then that's CGI.
You can do it on the app. at 199.5 I'd've switched it much sooner than that, if I were you, hell you might use up half a meg just navigating the app. But lesson learned for next time, in the meantime I suggest just turning off your data right now for the rest of the day and hope for the best, or pay the extra 15 :)
If you change your plan BEFORE you blow through the cap, you can beat that.
Me too. He just has to touch the tail? Pfft. I don't think it would be too hard to step this up by putting handholds on the stabilizers have them grab it, and somehow have the plane right itself and for him to board.
Yup I am on the 200mb plan since I'm on wifi most of the time, and whenever I get near the threshhold I switch instantaneously to the 2gb plan and only get charged the days I'm on there.
Try switching back to the 32" and see if it feels the same.
I really want to switch to an HSA this year (but staying with Blue Shield of CA), but I am afraid of going through underwriting again. I had been getting tests done the past year for glaucoma and the opthalmologist put me in a "danger zone" but has yet to diagnose me (I have to retest every 6 months). What are the…
I live in Los Angeles with my fiancee 3000 miles away from my parents, and I wiped out my debt (effectively increasing my net worth by 20,000 dollars) while working from home as a motion graphics artist.
I don't think studios have done away with the running-time clause. For example as I said David Fincher usually has such clauses with the studio and for the past 3 films he's made films that were a good balance of critical and financial acclaim, while maintaining a fantastic relationship with his studio (Sony). The…
Absolutely not. You should totally be focusing on eliminating the debt, not counting maintaining a comfortable emergency fund.
Last year I paid off a remaining 3000 dollars of car payments to my parents (who had gotten the money from their HELOC and charged me the same 3% interest) and then 9000+ of student loans at 4.125% to land entirely debt free by November (I'm 27, and both loans were paid off in half the time).
all that potential energy gets burned up "during re-entry" as it were, transferred to the air it passes through (there's your heat). Terminal velocity is achieved as a it will not hurt any more to get hit by a penny dropped from 1000 feet versus 100,000 feet (Mythbusters did this already), or an ipad.
