Honestly especially if you live near a lot of dealerships, those dealerships might have already decided that it's not worth it to try to keep you as a repeat customer; since you probably would only return to them once every 5 or more years, and your repeat business is not guaranteed, they'd probably rather just gouge

Just like a customer should be most concerned about their total cost of ownership, the "proper" business tactic is to consider how much money they can take from a pool of customers over the lifetime of their relationship with said customers.

That's funny when I originally read this I thought it was telling buyers to up their minimum monthly payment by 50/month and their down payment by 500 dollars, so as to lower their total interest payments in the future.

Your friend enjoyed playing two games and yet only paid for the experience on one. In fact, your friend did that three other times as well.

no, no, 50/50 was my girlfriend's favorite movie, which i didn't see. i absolutely saw Fast Five (at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, even, where I also saw Tree of Life, The Muppets, and a 20th Anniversary screening of Thelma and Louise)

it was my girlfriend's favorite movie of the year (i didn't see it).

I called it before, I'm gonna keep calling it. "You Can (Not) Redo" is yet another reference that these remakes are actually SEQUELS to the original series, not a remake. Can not wait for the next two movies.

I'm having a hard time remembering the last time we had a large-scale system of simplifying social structure that had been in place for many years... the establishment of the Euro, maybe? We still haven't gotten Daylight Savings Time out of our systems, and forget about getting the metric system in place.

i'll give you the benefit of the doubt but at some point if we both want to start valuating judgements of movies based on their quality, we have to establish some sort of rubric. You refer to me missing out of "some excellent films" and "must watch some awful shit," but based on whose opinion are you claiming these

There's no photoshop (not really) or post trickery, it was all entirely CG (it's not really particularly complicated CG, they're like architectural renderings).

Would double heart if I could.

Would double heart if I could.

I like the concept of philotes in Ender's Game and the Absolute Terror field in Evangelion... in a way they're both conceptual and thematic opposites of each other... the first is a particle that quantum entangles two objects via, essentially, love and soulful connection between them (heartstrings, if you will), and

Well guess what: Hollywood will eventually stop making movies for people who have taste in movies, because there's no future in making movies for people who like movies so much they can't even be bothered to pay for them. Expect more 3d chipmunks and smurfs in your future. It's already happening.

actually if you check out my post above both the imdb user and rotten tomatoes ratings for the pirated movies are measurably higher than the top 10 grossing movies of the year, so giz is wrong. smart people pirate, and smart people like watching good movies (but not smart enough to pay for them). meanwhile, both smart

see my post above to prove how presumptuous your statement is. The top 10 pirated list had noticeably higher rotten tomatoes AND imdb user ratings averages than the top 10 grossing films of the year. Which means that with good movies, people pirate MORE and spend LESS, and with bad movies, they pirate LESS and spend

Actually if you look at my post a few above yours the top 10 pirated list has higher Rotten Tomatoes AND IMDB ratings, and made 40% less money than the top 10 worldwide box office leaders.

Let's compare the grosses of the top 10 movies on the pirated list versus the box office list, and the average rotten tomatoes score for each list:
