he's being clever, but he basically means on multiple choice tests only one of those answers will reveal a "correct" mark. he's saying that within the parameters of a multiple choice test, technically only one of those choices for 25% is correct. The other one would be marked wrong.

The funny thing is that as someone who works from home (making a comfortable living), I also only do about 25 hours a week of actual work, and sometimes I feel guilty about being lazy (especially when by the end of the day I feel exhausted), but my timekeeping really only accounts for hours during which I'm working

I gotta say I'm loving the location-based reminders (I use it to remind me to log my mileage whenever I get back home from business meetings) but man having the GPS on all the time has cut my battery life by about half.

Think of it like a deck of cards that got smeared and spread out (like how a blackjack dealer or a magician would spread them out), that's like how your camera smeared the image by shaking while the exposure was being taken. In the war photo you can see that the image was clearly smeared horizontally, with a slight

what about the intermittent mist sprays of the produce section?

These new headphones are signficantly louder than my last two headphones, both of which broke (one were headphones and the other were buds), across all apps. I definitely need something that curbs what OSX is outputting (but keeps the standard volume controller usable)

But since the demand is that high that people are willing to pay hundreds of dollars/euros to see them via scalpers, that means the tickets really are worth that much to people. In fact, they're worth even more since dealing with scalpers tacks on extra costs (getting a fake ticket, busted by cops, getting mugged

My new super cheap headphones (hey, I'm not really an audiophile) are CRAZY loud. As in one bar in OSX's volume is plenty loud, and 2 bars is excessive.

is it safe yet to switch to Lion from SL? Especially for a guy that does a lot of Adobe work?

I misread the title as a much more interesting article about how Chris Walken wanted to be Han Solo.

With GV I ditched my $5 200 text plan on AT&T. I still get and receive texts from people that don't know my new number, but at 20 cents per text as long as I don't send and receive more than 25 a month I'm saving money.

Yo, I'm Cuban, B!

Is it actually a rule in sting operations that the suspects have to refer to the drugs by their real name, not slang? I've seen that in movies, where they can't arrest the guy unless he said "xanax" instead of bones. Cause you know, the guy might be selling a skeleton for use in a science project.

Restore worked, upgrade worked. Turning little snitch back on.

So I need clarification:

Phone just restored to factory settings. Not sure if it was because of apple's servers or because i turned little snitch off. now to restore from backup, and THEN i can try to upgrade again.

I'm getting 3004 errors (that it can't restore). This is after I got the 3200 error that seemed to be an issue with the servers. I just turned Little Snitch off because they claim iTunes can't connect to the apple servers.

I just had this same problem as well. It's going through the restore now. Maybe I shouldn't have done this during the workday.

If you don't want to go through that hassle or expense, and 50,000 other fans ARE willing, shouldn't they be allowed to go get tickets over you?

yeah, trust a band's own website to be able to handle the bandwidth of 50,000 users trying to access the same page in one minute, refreshing every 5 seconds. Good luck with that.
