if they're so damn expensive why do ticket still sell out in a minute and then get bought from scalpers for 500% ticket price? It's not like you need a concert to feed your dying baby, it's a luxury item that in a recession still apparently has more than plenty of demand.

The fees are ridiculous, and yes I agree everything should just be rolled into one price (Time Warner customer service always seems to stumble when I keep asking them how much the damn cable costs including taxes and fees, but they cave eventually). The ticket printing fee especially is so damning only because it was

Because the space efficiency on these things aren't good (especially considering how much less power they create than traditional power plants). It's not feasible to imagine dozens of these plants replacing traditional plants, imagine the fields they'd have to clear for it to meet demand.

I don't think I've run into a mobile site on my iPad since gawker updated their code to run the full version. If your tablet shows mobile versions for you then I'm sorry.

I hope they use the empty space around/under the panels efficiently as well... I dunno, grow mushrooms or something.

having a laptop and tv that can connect via HDMI has solved all my streaming problems.

especially for a company that started out selling wood paneled home computers and is now a major force in home audio and mobile phones, and soon to dominate the world with their print-on-demand greeting cards.

Light bends when passing through different media, like water, glass, plastic, etc. The bulb-like shape of the bottle takes the light and bounces and bounces it in lots of different directions. A same effect would be achieved if it was just a solid chunk of glass shaped like the bottle, but obviously those aren't as

If I sent Apple a condolence card using this service, would they find it tacky?

I stand corrected! My entire wireless plan tops out at 60 bucks with taxes and fees, so I guess that's why I'm not eligible any sooner :)

Nobody who has an iPhone4 who got it with a contract is eligible to get it for 200 dollars, it's only been 16 months. The earliest you're due is in February, for an early upgrade.

is there a rule defining what counts as a mountain? like if there's a lopsided asteroid can you just call an entire half of it a mountain?

I pay 55/month for mine:

Everyone watch "I, Caveman" on Yahoo! (or Discovery Channel), I did the graphics on the show :)

I have been native Apple user since 2008, when I got an iMac and iPod touch. I'm on a MBP, an iPad 1, and an iPhone 4 now and at no point in that entire experience have I ever paid for anything through itunes. All my apps are free (and only very occasionally do I yearn for certain apps that don't have free versions),

Should note that that video is a CG model and render of the asteroid based on images taken by the Dawn's framing camera. Actual images can be found here: [www.jpl.nasa.gov]#11

Actually this is more of an indication of how much more of a disappointment that Cap ONLY did as well as he did domestically. Cap is arguably the more recognizable superhero compared to Thor, and despite opening at 98.9% Thor's opening weekend, it ended up grossing 3 percent less.

Listen, I think the intellectual property suits are BS, this type of convergent design has been evident in PC's and phones since the beginning of the tech. Apple should just be flattered and then continue setting the pace and being 2-3 years ahead of the curve like they have been for much of the past decade.

I definitely agree, but you're also making my point that Apple's now set the standard for tech design, and the problem is that they set the standard long before any of their competitors had been able to catch up.

Based on the rumors, it sounds like it's ditching the iPhone 4's leica-esque hard corners and silver trim and kind of going back to a rounded back look, and is slightly larger than the iphone4's screen? Sounds more like a Samsung phone to me.
