Actually I happened to be sixteen when the first Fast and the Furious movie came out. It was a cultural phenomenon. I got to hear all about the appeal of Paul Walker straight from the horny teenage girls who desperately wanted to pounce him. It was nauseating, but it was very very sincere.

I think I’d disagree. I saw it too, and while it wasn’t an inspired film, I see no reason why it should be ‘buried’ at all. It was a coherent story with interesting themes and some very solid performances. John Malkovich in particular was excellent.
