meh many people do them now if you have a baby of a different sex the second time. they usually call it a sprinkle instead of a shower which I hate the name of but I get the idea.

I didn’t have a registry and suggested that people not to bring gifts to the shower and not one person complied. Shopping for baby gifts is fun, no stopping it.

There are several rules of thought on this topic. I am not a fan, particularly if the second kid is the same sex as the first and close in age AND there's a large registry involved. Not sure “controversy” is the right word to describe what surrounds the Ghostbusters remake. “Controversy” implies some legitimate material dispute of facts, interpretations, or values. This is just a mass man-child temper tantrum.
