Such a good call, that the narrator might be Lily James pretty, but she sees herself as less-than. Fuck the book is so good! I can so vividly picture the narrator in Rebecca’s parlor, plagued by insecurities.

I think Lily is too pretty. There has to be a real sense of contrast between the narrator and Rebecca. But I am here for this! It’s one of my favorite books to re-read in the Fall. This house is for sale in the neighborhood next to mine, it’s somewhat abandoned and always reminds me of Manderley:
