She's adorable! I'm always so happy to hear about the dogs who get happy endings, but I can't help but think of all the ones who don't and it breaks my heart. I'm also on your crusade to educate people about puppy mills, and how horrible they are.

She did, but I'm pretty sure my mom's getting just as much out of the deal as her little furball is. They are a hilarious pair, and I LOVE visiting them. Dogs' ability to trust and love after nothing but neglect and abuse is amazing.

He's totally adorable. Look at that little face and that little tongue!

Absolutely! We were shocked to see that my mom's dog (rescued from her life as a puppy mill breeding dog) has official pedigree papers. Meaning someone met with/saw/knew about the puppy mill breeders treating her like shit, and was just like "Yep! Purebred poodle. Carry on." about it. Fuck them.

I think basically they don't care about the moms. The puppies only have to make it to 6 or 8 weeks before the puppy mills sell them off. And a lot of those puppies ARE sick or have major health issues due to irresponsible breeding.

Oh my god, I am SO sorry. How horrible. I'm glad you made it out, but I'm sorry sorry the dogs didn't.

So agreed. My mom just adopted a dog who was rescued from a puppy mill. She was one of the breeding dogs before she was saved, and she is the sweetest girl in the world, but you can tell she was treated SO horribly. She was really underweight, had a broken jaw that was never treated (and therefore set wrong), only

Oh, I could have saved myself quite a bit of heartache if I'd believed the guy who told me that from the get-go, too. Instead I found out the hard way. Alas, we often have to learn these lessons that way, don't we?

No she's not. Perhaps you wouldn't have phrased her response the way she did, but her point is valid, and I'm able to acknowledge my privilege and apologize.

Holy shit, that comment was beyond racist, inappropriate, and offensive. I'm dismissing it, but I just want to make sure you know that was really fucked up.

Okay, I apologize.

Girl, I am with you. I love TSwift. Is she a musical genius with a stellar dating record? No. But neither am I. She seems like a nice person, her music is fun, and she's certainly done nothing to merit the vitriol here.

BURN IT ALL TO THE GROUND.

I think the best piece of dating advice I ever got was, "when someone tells you they're no good for you, believe them."

Right?! Like that man is doing it right.

I feel like Jez posted a pretty selectively edited version of this. Because with the added context, her advice is pretty spot-on.

That seems like some pretty important context, Jez. And with that added context, I actually pretty much agree.

That silence thing is legit, though, if a person is being a douchenozzle. I dated this dude for three months a while ago, and it ended when he randomly dumped me via text message, and then dragged shit out for another few weeks (you know, to ensure that I was thoroughly hurt, I guess). I ran into him at a bar a

I did, too, which is also why I like them. They both sort of embraced the "I am here to be a charicature of a person, and I will fucking own that" mentality, which made the show hilarious. I think Pauly D sort of got there, too, but also just seems like an affable dude. The rest of them? They can (and pretty much

I loved the drunk meatball, too! I was actually super impressed by how much having a baby matured her, but I was also super pleased to see she's still pretty ridiculous even as a mom.
