That sounds like a total nightmare, unless he is the very rare sort of person who finds it relaxing to have his spouse organize his life for him. It sounds more abusive than relaxing to me, though.

I have the distinct feeling you are mocking me, but I’m starring anyway, since you made me laugh! :)

I don’t know why, but I feel like BobCarol’s house would smell strongly of every scented product known to mankind: from Love My Carpet, to Glade Plug-ins, to powerfully scented dryer sheets and cinnamon apple pie potpourri.

I’ve noticed when it’s younger people sharing a Facebook account with a name like “RobandAshley Smith” It’s always Ashley and never Rob who is using it. There are a number of accounts like this that post in my local neighborhood group, and I always ask “is this Rob or Ashley who is commenting?”... it’s freaking

I LOOOOOVE the BobCarol Smiths of the Facebook world and the weird syntax of their posts. “WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO SEE YOU TODAY” a new status announces to the entire Facebook world. You get tagged in their photos on the head of someone else with your first name. BobCarol posts a meme about lazy husbands and warns us,

The letter writer puts this issue in the proper perspective, for me.

My parents do this. They are both over 60 and use email for household business (bills and stuff) and communication with their kids. I think it’s weird, but if I want to communicate with one of the privately, I just pick up the fucking phone and call that parent. If it’s my mom, I can text her. My dad simply declines

Also, “#girlboss” is now something shady ass MLM companies have picked up on. If I see one more Facebook MLM recruitment post from a rep from Stella & Dot, Beachbody, Arbonne, 31, etc. with #girlboss on it, I’m going to scream.

I’ve never gone into battle without a black woman,

Chris is speaking the truth. It seems to me he’s also subtlely talking about colorism toward actresses of African descent as well. Almost every “black” actress cast in movies/tv these days is light skinned/biracial/multi-racial. Hollywood really does not like dark skinned black women.

She has, back in 2005 (I think), for the Johnny Cash biopic. She definitely does have a point about limited roles for women, especially women over 30, but she definitely could have phrased it better.

She’s been in a TON of crappy movies, yet it also seemed to kinda read like she’s reached the “breaking point” - like mortality’s setting in and she’s having “a moment” - looking forward to like the video w/ amy schumer, tina fey, patricia arquette etc.

I’m dying to read a linguist/anthropologist’s essay on how people discuss Hillary in comparison to the other candidates. You can say you don’t like someone without making it so obvious your opinion is tainted with misogyny

It’s almost like they should not use violent language in a campaign!!

I think it’s more like “thank you for taking the time to think positively about my family.” Or in other words,“thanks for trying.” Religious or not, if a stranger is taking a moment to concentrate on the healing of your father, whether prayer is bullshit or not, that’s very kind.

As an atheist I would argue that prayers never work, but that's not the fault of the prayer giver and they should be thanked.

This whole mess sounded like so much same old same old that this sex tape watching just flew over my head. Thanks for spelling out the weirdness of it all to my jaded eyes.

There’s a theory out there that claims Sandy dies in the beginning (drowned?) and the whole movie is her dream before she flies/drives up to heaven.
