How strange. I had something similar happen to me about 20 years ago. I bought a turbo timer for my MR2 and quickly realized I could set it for 10 mins, turn the car ‘off’ (still running, but I had removed the key) lock it, and run into a store to grab something and come out with time to spare.

One day I did this but

Uh-oh. This is opening a huge can of worms for car enthusiasts. Cobb is by far not the only ones making devices to help you remove your precats and cats. If the EPA really wants to stretch things they could sue the people making the skip-shift delete devices for GM muscle cars, on the theory that skip shift is helping

Worrying about 0.028% (yes, you read that correctly) of the vehicles on the road is just stupid.

Stop. Just do yourself a favor... stop.

I say no emissions regulations for vehicles”

I would not say that this man is rich. However, I am pointing and laughing at him for his dumb decisions.

Hitler killed himself, my guy.

It isn’t. It’s a not-at-all-veiled incitement to not vote for the guy.

Point me to a lefty multi-billionaire who threatens personal violence against the president, and I’ll hate that guy, too.

In addition to yanking his security clearance, revoke his citizenship and deport him back to South Africa from whence he came. From there, maybe he can move on to a dictatorship more in line with his personal beliefs.

What? That isn’t even close to true. I own two cars that are absolutely not underwater. And some brands have better resale than others. Sure, maybe the first year on most new cars you will be, but it isn’t always underwater, lol.

Probably fails the “short time to get there” criteria. I just punched Miami to LA into EVTripPlanner, picked a Model 3 LR and... it came up with 36 hours driving and 9 hours charging at +15% speed limit. Spending a fifth of the trip charging might give many pause.

If someone didn’t repost their content, would we even know CR still existed?

Personally, I’m REALLY looking forward to the Rivian R3. If the price is right, that’ll likely be my first EV.

In my experience, 200 horsepower is adequate for most things, 300 is plenty for virtually anything, and everything above 300 is just excessive for the street.

Where the hell are his parents, and why isn’t he in school/at home under lockdown?

Buc’cees has always seemed far more hassle than it’s worth. Sooo busy that it does not make for a quick in/out. It does excel at getting one’s body fed and bottoms emptied, so there’s that. And that’s where the profit is, so mission accomplished.

These giant gas stations are cool, but the amount of people parking at a gas stall to walk inside and disappear for an hour is too damn high. Don’t go to these big gas stations on weekends.

BIG agree on the interior of the Mustang. The last one felt special, and the gigantic screen takes up so much space that there’s none left for actual DESIGN. Makes it feel very generic inside. Reminds me of the Camaro interior, which is NOT compliment.

Can’t believe that nobody’s mentioned an EcoBoost Mustang. Starting MSRP is $31k, and it’s a blast to drive (although the new generation’s interior is a huge step back from the previous gen’s).
