My man got assassinated mid-post.

No, Waymo, this is not vandalism. There’s no damage being done. It’s making a point that driverless cars aren’t as smart as you think they are, and they’re doing their part to keep these cars off the road (at least temporarily) where they shouldn’t have been in the first place.

Well, the problem here is that the car is self driving, so it’s not ‘someone’s car’, there’s no one in it. The car belongs to a corporation that sends its robot cars out without a driver and many times those robot cars are getting stuck and causing accidents. Now the corporation wants to put MORE of those cars on the

A machine that can cease functionality because someone took three seconds to put a traffic cone on it and then can only be restarted by having a third party physically come out to remove the cone seems like a machine that doesn’t need to be on the road to begin with.

Um, I get ran into by people walking around my office daily.

cutting out the cause of crashes: cars. Drivers.

I blame ADAS. Smarter cars don’t make safer drivers. Smarter cars make dumber drivers.

No One Wants To Buy The Car Tupac Was Killed In”

I think most states (and commonwealths) allow left on red from one-way to one-way. I do it twice every morning, though there are occassionally people who seem to want to fight me for doing it.

Somehow, I like this Mustang less the more I see it. Still not bad...but I’d realistically try to find a nice older one. Though, when I looked at 2017ish GT convertibles near me recently, they were the same price as they were when I was looking 4 years ago. Damn you used car prices.

Our Boeing 737-900 didn’t have in-seat entertainment for such a long flight, but whatever. Surely, the WiFi will work. Well, it did. Sort of. By that, I mean it would remain connected for a few minutes before dropping out. It took me nearly three hours to watch the first hour of “The Perfect Storm” on my iPhone. And

If yall are unmotivated or just plain lazy just cash app me a 20 spot and I can write and car article.

Right? This is really bad car reporting. Did he crash due to driver error or mechanical failure? What course was he driving? Which turn did he wipe out on?

It’s sad and all that, but I desperately want to know what he was driving.

When the accountants get to say what needs trimming, they’ll always say engineering. If the engineers were asked what needs trimming, they’d say “upper management” - which is why they never ask the engineers.

Fox’s fear machine is real, so you’re not wrong in general. But this instance can probably be laid at the feet of media on the whole. You have a black lady near a border being driven by a Hispanic man. Then place that in the context of the kidnappings that happened recently: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/gulf-c

I love big companies and their executive level decision making. We need to save money, lets get rid of the people that make our products... You know, you could probably take some pay cuts at the top, still be making way more money than you need, save face with the company and country, which might actually lead to more

Ironic that the VW is probably more reliable than the Mini ;-)

OTOH, a MINI might be the only 2000s car that’s *less* reliable than a 1980s VW. ;)

I haven’t driven that area, but I’ve driven areas like it.  I personally think something like the base engine Mustang or Camaro with an upgraded suspension might be a good fit. Ford and Chevy dealerships are easy to find, and being a based model engine car, the nicks and dings aren’t world changing.  And with around
