I bought my last car new in 2015 with a stick; haven’t seen anything that made me want to give it up. This might do just that, but also, it might not be what I want, even with a stick. Manual gets me in the door; driving experience gets me to leave with the car.

I respect your opinion, I really do. But opinions are subjective. I’ve tried multiple cars of which ‘the internet’ claimed the automatic gearboxes were better than manuals. And while driving them, I understood where they were coming from. These gearboxes were nothing like the automics of old. However, I simply kept

I came back to my native Germany from an exchange year in the US (Arkansas of all places) and my English grade dropped from a B+ right down to a barely passed D.

I’m still not sure it’s the car for me. But it’s now at least part of the conversation.

There’s a thousand rational metrics one can use and I’ve used them but the answer for me turns out to be a very Marie Kondo-ish “does it spark joy?”

Trust issues with a car are a BIG thing, for sure.

Stop driving like morons... I have at least one close call per week and would be livid if someone wrecked my low miles 2019 Tundra, where would I get another.

From the technician -

1. If shit’s dripping under the car, find out what it is, and where the HELL it is coming from. Granted, every car drips some harmless water from the HVAC system. But water from the HVAC doesn’t stain your driveway, and isn’t some color.

2. People! Watch your god damn gauges and lights! Trust and

There’s some fairly well to do individuals or family units here. We can afford things but not every desirable car fits our wants and needs.

This didn’t sit well with NASCAR for a lot of reasons. It creates further deviation from the Cup cars’ real-world counterparts...

Totally, I make a decent wage but even then there is no way I could afford an E-class wagon new, especially with kids etc. They hold their value so much more than the sedans so its funny how they dont depreciate much... but there arent enough people to want to spend the 70k and up base price for one. Maybe fewer lease

When I’ve been caught in on eI ask how much the person behind me’s order is. If it’s within a couple $ of mine then sure why not.

And, the technician checks in! ( I should make it a point to do this more often.)

These are not bad cars at all. Handbuilt at the Reatta Craft Center in Lansing Michigan means that they might be screwed together SLIGHTLY better than most big GM front wheel drive cars.

I really wish this company wasn’t a total scam, because I’d love to drive one of their designs. It’s a damn shame they’ll never come to market...

It’s a shame really. Their ’’products’ look so damned cool. I which they will materialize one day but, I’m not holding my breath.

I stand by my claim that your car always drives better after it’s been washed.

Always a good car wash before a road trip. A clean car is a happy car and a happy car is a reliable car.

Came to say all of that.

Your clutch doesn’t need an adjustment, you need a new throwout bearing (and you might as well put a clutch in it while you are in there). But it might go a long, long time like that, just don’t hold the pedal to the floor at lights - put it in neutral and let the clutch out to save as much wear and tear as possible.
