I still want to know why they’re not offering a manual transmission in the ecoboost cars.

My 2001 BMW needs front brake calipers. Not that they’re really bad, and the brake pads still have a few miles left in them, no noise yet, but they’re rusty and I’ve already done the rears...
Did you see where the Michelin Pilot Sport 4s was actually on the list at Grassroots Motorsports? I don’t disagree with you on any one point, but in general they’re going to be better with tires than anything we see on Jalopnik.
I generally go to Grassroots Motorsports for my summer tire recommendations:
The paper temp plates? most likely yes.
“My hot take is that the pre-facelift S550 had the better front end, but the later cars have better tail lights.”
I even bought a BMW within the past year. No it’s not one of the big grille cars, and I won’t ever go there.
I just saw one of these in traffic. From the back they look good, but I never saw the front of it... ew...
What large city do you live in?

It wouldn’t look so bad without the giant fob for my Mustang.
New tech in old cars can look odd, but this already had a (small) navigation screen with a cassette deck. The navigation worked, but it was DVD driven and the maps were severely out of date and hard to use. With no bluetooth in it, as far as I was concerned the stock head unit was worthless, though someone may still…
Yep, it’s clearly abhorrent.
Early 2000's cars are not so old as to have issues with modern tech being added to them. I upgraded the head unit in my 2001 BMW to a 10" touch screen with Android Auto and it was exactly what it needed to up its daily driver potential.
I was trolling online the other night for a new Nissan Z, and found a new Proto Edition (yellow with a manual) at a local North Austin Nissan dealer with a $19,999 markup. Nissan has enough trouble selling decent cars, when they finally make something I’m interested in their dealers shoot themselves in the foot with…
