1. Title issues. Salvage title, open title, no title - No Sale. Saw a Mustang Bullett listed at a dealer in Houston for a smoking deal, and might have gone for it if I hadn’t seen that it had come from Florida after being totaled in the last hurricane...

Me too! 100% right down to the 2014 Focus with the manual!

I had a 2014 Focus hatch with the manual transmission. It was actually a really good car. Too bad it took the same massive depreciation hit as the automatic cars.

Then there’s this guy who built his own:

You’re right. There are always more and bigger idiots to be on the lookout for. All you can do is try to be as prepared behind the wheel as possible.

My kids drove small cars as teens and still drive them as young adults. I don’t feel they’re more likely to die in them than in any other car. In part I feel this way because I took every effort to train them how to drive properly and re-enforce that with additional training through the SCCA Street Survival program.

Bring back Ferguson!

In 2001, with the birth of my 3rd daughter, it became completely obvious that I could no longer continue through life with just a 2-seat sports car. My wife had an SUV, but I was daily driving a 280zx, and had no place to put 2 car seats when the need arose. Being on a Datsun kick at the time I bought a 30 year old
