I’d say buy it and race it at anything they’ll let you. Autocross. Road course. Rallycross. whatever.
From what I understand she hadn’t done the job before and was only following the instructions and timetable she had been given. If the track officials and security didn’t stop her, she was going out to do her job.
I wasn’t there, but I have heard from some folks who were marshalling at the time...
You must have been on I-10 between San Antonio and Houston. That whole stretch of highway needs a 3rd lane added...
Came here to say this. I bought a new 2017 with Performance Pack for $25k, so you don’t even have to look at used with that budget.
and why do you say that?
Honestly I don’t see the point in making fun of any car owner; Mustang, Camaro, whatever. Report the news, fine, but there’s no need to perpetuate these old stereotypes.
Drive peacefully out of the show area, keeping the car under control at all times. Because that’s what a responsible adult does.
Come on out to the next autocross. You can pretend to be a cone, we’ll see who hits you first. Me? or a Honda driver?
True.
Describe this “classic look” for me. I know that the cars of the 60's had chrome trim, and they looked awesome with it. Sporty cars in 2018 don’t need it. Of course this is the internet, and everything (including my previous statements) should be read as just opinion. Anyone reading my opinion and choosing to believe…
Which is a thing I would NEVER think about doing.
In part I agree. I was parked this weekend next to a 5.0 Mustang with the “Crowd Control” stickers. Two weeks ago I had some kids react to my leaving a show area by ducking behind their cars. I shrug it off, but really it’s just not funny anymore.
I don’t drift, but it takes more skill than going in a straight line.
As a current Mustang driver I’m really getting tired of the “Mustangs always wreck when leaving car shows” thing. It’s gotten really old.
I just want to know when you guys are going to shut up about this thing? Yes, I get it, it’s going to be a drag strip king, but some of us don’t drag race.
Absolutely Stef! You should totally daily drive your track car down to San Antonio on Sunday morning to come play with SPOKES.
I went through several sketchy cars in a row in 1994.
If you can tell the race and gender of the driver in that Mustang photo, you’re better than I am.
