Seriously, he just looks psychotic in those scenes. Beforehand, we were thinking about how much it cost to remove the mustache, but I guess I assumed that it would look anatomically-correct. It’s not a matter of the CGI being bad pixel-for-pixel, it’s like his mouth isn’t the same shape anymore.
First, they weren’t trying to hide the Jesus motif.
I was surprised at that Ma Kent line and a few others. A bit more...phrasing than one expects in a mainstream superhero film.
I don’t necessarily have a singular sense of canonicity with a character like Bruce Wayne, but I did find Bale’s version far more compelling than Affleck’s. I suppose that the latter is more credible in a way, easier to buy as a real Billionaire, but maybe I don’t want that.
Ironically, some of the best parts of Ragnarok are the closest to Snyder imagery that the MCU has yet hit upon. Of course, then there’s the levity and all of the other things that make it enjoyable.
I know, right?
Kim Engelbrecht. : )
Wouldn’t it kind of not matter, though? His speed comes from something external.
It feels like more than 10!years to me. (Typo left in.)
I mean, I think that this like many similar petitions is rather silly and i don’t believe that there’s a great Snyder film lost to tragedy, but Snyder is a distinctive stylist so if you like his style and compound that with dislike for Whedon/Marvel quippyness, Justice League looks very much like something that was…
You can’t trust a rabbit trying to sell you something.
Yeah, I think that for some films anyway, big orchestral scores are evidence of an autopilot approach.
The Ragnarok score also had a nice callback to the theme from Patrick Doyle’s (?) music for the first film. Like Captain America and the Avengers, Thor has a brief, moving melodic cue that often gets left out of the conversation.
Enough of this PC BS.
His PBS interview show is/was an institution.
Nike might even finally make the AirMax Logan.
I like Cyborg. He is underbaked but his powers are poorly explained because his robotic capabilities are being driven by weird alien tech. Anyway, I thought that Ray Fisher’s face was one of the best parts of the whole thing, because he seems the most like a real character to me of anyone this side of Wonder Woman.
There’s a Director’s Cut of MoS?
Inside a cylindrical structure, as well.
