So I guess at the end of the new trilogy, Rey, a seemingly humble peasant on a backwater planet, turned out to be the descendent of a powerful and evil Sith, learned the ways of the force, helped to defeat the Empire, redeemed a fallen Skywalker, killed emperor Palpatine, and presumably went off to start a new Jedi

The interesting part is that the Palaptine lineage wins. All the Skywalkers are dead and Rey (who is a Palpatine) lives. What a great way to end your series.

Tenel Ka’s mom!

But they’re all too pretty. It’s going to be hard to cast Berelain and Galad at this point.

Well he is a samurai...

Death needs to put some meat on those bones......

To be fair the Emond’s Field cast SHOULD look like a CW show, they’re all young. Even Nynaeve isn’t that much older than Rand and the others.

idk, it kinda felt TLJ was going that way anyways to an extent.

I’m gonna flat out say it. I’m kind of stoked for the “superhero as horror story” so long as the Main Antagonist isn’t the person that should be the Main Protagonist(Brightburn and BvS should feel personally attacked right now).

Because it’s finished, and presumably Disney wants to make some sort of profit from it, however small.

I thought it was a really cool idea to see the X-men mutants be explored in the horror (and other) genre instead of just always being superheroes all the time. I was clamoring for it when I saw the original trailer, but definitely not an extremely watered down version thats more designed to get into future movies

“New Mutants” coming straight to an Apple Watch near you!

Unless they change the title from New Mutants....yeah, I doubt it.

Cool story. Good to know.

Pretty much this. Previously you’d open the fridge, grab the paper egg case open and see, “Oh I need more” or “No we have plenty.” Now I can peek in and see “The case is half full.”

They said “6 Seasons And A Movie.”  Well, where’s that Community movie, Dan Harmon!?  Where is it!?

It’s definitely a product of what I’d call late period Gen-X MTV, that last moment when youth culture dealt with “slackers” or weirdoes (Daria, Buffy, Beck, Austin Stories, Web 1.0 in general) before the conformist, clean-cut, pre-Bush-43 wave of the early ‘00s hit, embodied by the teen pop that was suddenly

James Marsden, who looks old enough to be graduating college

Part of me is honestly tempted to start a parody alt-right blog just to see what kind of ludicrous bullshit I can get them to believe and do.
