DeHaan can be a really good actor, sort of dark smoldering charisma, but he does look like her twin when they're side by side, and this doesn't seem like his type of role.

If you'd like to maintain some mystery, don't show the public part of a new film. If you're going to show people who aren't NDA-limited insiders, then you get what you get: less mystery, more excitement.

I can't remember anything about the villain in BH6 other than the Japanese-mask thing. I completely forget that that movie even exists until someone brings it up, as you did here.
I believe that they were/are playing different characters among the three, but the Disney TV adaption had Alfre Woodard, whom I can't help myself from missing because I adore her.
I get the sense that this film is more of a replacement for the original than a celebration of it. Hasn't Aladdin kind of dropped off the map in a way that most Disney animated classics haven't?
