All that I have to say is that balance is a good thing and Wonder Woman is a really nicely balanced film.

I'm Sifing through the channels and can't hear anything.

It's actually had the opposite effect on me. I am somewhat tired of Iron Man, but I'm probably even more tired of Spider-Man at this point.

I do not care for Rotten Tomatoes, or for the common citation of it in defense or condemnation of films. I just felt compelled to click on this and say that, even though I've probably fed the machine in doing so.

Well, if I recall correctly, the last Transformers film was heavily propped up by China and would have represented a drop-off, at least, if only American box office were reckoned.

The thing that gets me is that Dracula could work as the foundation character for a series of films. Could.

You haven't seen The Invisible Man until you've seen him in IMAX.

It's kind of funny to me how North American audiences seem to be more…selective about a lot of these big films. And once we move to Kinja and lose all of the old thinkpieces, we'll need to replace them.

I couldn't figure out who she looked like until you said it.

    But humans are mammals!

"Will the culture that originated the Adidas tracksuit please come forward and take responsibility?"

Katy Perry's adventures might not be the best argument for appropriation as something that isn't insensitive—she often seems pretty nakedly sensational about exploiting images, no matter what they may be culturally or otherwise—but the word 'appropriation' does seem to have acquired a default-negative connotation,

I haven't watched Suicide Squad, so I can't compute a total batting average for the DCU. That said, I don't think that the MCU has anything as bad—in my estimation—as BvS.
