THANK YOU and YES, I agree 100%! This read exactly like what a pedophile would say to justify his abuse, trying to paint a child as a consciously sexual being, which is of course disgusting horse shit.

Why is there an article dedicated to one girls suicide? Thousands of people commit suicide every year. What is so unique about this one? A girl has sex with multiple boys, someone films it, she is harassed at school, and kills herself. We have heard it all before.
The craziest thing I have ever seen was when I was bartending at a strip club. Guy comes in and he's weird. Tries to hit on every person lacking a y chromosome including myself. Anyway, he starts harassing one of the dancers. She is a quiet, sweet woman that just so happens to be wearing thigh high boots that night.…
Seriously, the only time I want to hear the word female is in a nature documentary. For example, "After coitus the female of the species devours the her mate." That sounds just fine.
Whenever I hear somebody use female as a noun while referring to humans, it is an immediate sign to me that whatever is coming out of their mouth will be deeply rooted in misogyny. I have yet to be wrong.
My dad was big on attention getting shows of public humiliation of his children (screaming, and cursing at us when there was a crowd was a favorite...a schoolyard crowd of our peers was a bonus) when he couldn't have things his way, or we made a small very human oversight or error on our part. We were all well behaved…
It is straight up bullying and I have no respect for people who applaud this behavior.
Parents who use a combination of humiliation and social media to punish their kids should be publicly flogged.
people are calling what Fredrick does emotional abuse, but he says that most people are applauding his novel way of disciplining children.
I wanna knock the barber's fucking teeth out. So he'll resemble a 6-yr-old.
IMO, as a person who was physically and emotionally abused as a kid, any discipline or punishment that is intended to humiliate a kid is abusive. I don't like this, on principle. Is this kid likely to be harmed long term because of this specific incidence? No. But that's not the point.
Oh, cool, humiliation. No way that's gonna backfire.
Over 70% of America identifies as Christian. When Odinists become the majority and try to enforce their beliefs via the US Government, I might feel differently.
But that petty jab aside, seriously: I'm not one of those people who think anyone who is religious is dumb, or narrow-minded, or any such thing. Mad props. Even kinda jealz. I'd love for God to be something I could catch. It'd be like how I am with football: If only I could like it, I'm sure I would if nothing…
if religion got out of the business of politics and morality-legislation (while being tax-free) i would be more on board with this... but the religious influence politics and make policies based on their religion that affect us all - as a non-believer, i don't tolerate that.
I was raised in a non-religious house by parents who had very strict religious upbringings from different religious traditions. I remember actually having conversations about what they believed and why and what I believed in and why. I was actually encouraged to know what I believed and think about why I held that…
I was raised in an atheist household (I'm 25 now), and I'm always surprised at how uncommon it is. I know lots of atheists, but all of them came to their atheism as teenagers or adults. I don't know anyone else with atheist parents.
