Virgin America is great, but they connect to about 20% of the places I need to go, and their prices are WAY higher than other carriers.

My mom sat me down in first grade to show me this movie I would “love.” It’s one of my favorites to this day. Then again, my mom was too liberal with things at times. I saw a lot of content I wouldn’t want my kids to see at the same age I did.

Cool. Mysterious. Maybe even a little dangerous? The only fashion accessory anyone should ever need.

My son was a big fan of Muppet Treasure Island and The Wild Thornberries as a kid. He was intrigued to learn there was a musical movie starring Tim Curry (other than Annie, which I would not have in the house because of an unfortunate experience as part of an amateur production. I still twitch if I hear Tomorrow.)

Hey, what kid wouldn’t like throwing toast?

And in due time she starts yelling at the cashier, “Why is everything more expensive here? This is ridiculous! You’re ripping people off!” and so on, as the

Considering that restaurants will take like, 50% off your bill if you have to wait awhile and don’t even complain, I would have raised HELL about this. Fuck 10%. They ruined your outfit.

It is Good Enough.

Not that it’s terribly important, but for some cultural context: for middle-class Torontonians, going up north to cottage country is a yearly ritual in summer. If your family doesn’t have a cottage, it’s likely that you’ll know someone who does. For a lot of kids, visiting friends at their cottages represents, for

Right? I’m not going to feel guilty for ordering delivery. If the weather’s bad, I’ll tip extra, but I’m not going to feel badly about ordering.

My parents home phone number is nearly identical to the local hospital if you transpose the last two numbers you’ll reach us instead. I have always had a deeper voice so when I was a seven or eight year old kid I sounded like the teenaged candy striper working the switch board. Once when I was about nine I had

If you think about it, any story about food is the beginning of a poop story.

No, it’s real.

If you were Canadian you’d know... :)
