No vote on this motherfucker until Garland gets his. Period.

Bizzare? The Korean War was a product of the cold war. China and the Soviet Union were using the north as a proxy, just as the US was using the south. Not sure what other players you are referring to - Japan? Japan ruled Korea from 1910 to 1945, so I am not sure there was a well established independence movement when

So these are the 52% of white women who voted for Trump? Can we just remove their right to vote, since their clearly don’t need, or want it? They can just leave all the choices up to their brave, strong, rich men who like to watch football. These ladies forgot that someone had to fight for their rights and I think it

NK isn’t one now because it suited China’s ultimate goal of not staring at US soldiers across a DMZ. Far less dangerous to prop up a dangerous but controllable puppet to take the international heat for communism.

And that is why Civil War 2 is an unfortunate inevitability.

Let me just say that it is every patriotic American’s duty to make sure that this wall gets knocked down as soon as it it built.

America (McArthur, really, by his lonesome) was going to take the entire Korean peninsula until China entered and pushed US forces back to the current DMZ. Now, if we had never entered Korea in the first place, there is a good case to be made that, by now, a united Korea would either be a completely free democratic

Trade and free access to information is the surest way to bring down a dictatorship. The hard part about that is not running your international diplomacy like a dick measuring contest. That’s really hard for America.

But you see, Donald Trump is insane.

Probably. But things like this have a way of spiraling out of control.

Tom Price looks like an evil sheriff from Georgia who kidnaps and tortures wayward yankees while wearing elaborate dinner gowns.

Yeah Donald sure as shit busted the fuck out of that “dumbshit” glass ceiling.

I’d say open up trade and internet access and the DPRK would fall in 6 months.

I argue that we should have intervened alot more than we did in a number of African countries and conflicts, but generally I agree with you that US intervention (really any colonial interventions, which these are) tends to turn out wrong. The thing here is that if we don’t militarily enforce South Korea’s independence

Jesus, what a dumb fuck.

The people of South Korea would almost certainly say that US intervention helped them. That’s a subjective and values based judgement, with which many might disagree, I realize, but they’d just be a part of China today otherwise.

I am not sure there is a clear historical analogy to be made when it comes to North Korea. The world can be divided into to eras: pre-nuke and post-nuke. Historical rules of war and gamesmanship no longer apply when you have the power to end humanity.

The longer we stay out, the more sense it make for Japan to nuke up. Not sure if that is better or worse, but my guess is worse.

You mean Republicans have been lying all these years when they said that we needed to drastically cut the budget immediately? What a fucking shock.
