I grew up in a desert and I have never considered what it would be like to grow up in a flood plain. At least disclosure laws have gotten better. I imagine as sea levels rise, there will be more places where this will become commonplace.

Ken Jennings got into a bit of shit from Trump supporters because he joked that Barron thought a pile of rotting meat was his father. These lunatics edited pictures of his kids (calling him a cuckold and making inappropriate jokes about them). You know, because it’s wrong to joke about children.

That linked news story is from a year and a half ago. Her public image is carefully crafted. I would agree she’s not in the same league of racist as Donald Trump, but I do not believe the idea that she (or at least the management team who crafts her tweets) honestly doesn’t know this is happening.
