I think Fargo has proven why he should be going to Titan. This season he's shown he can solve problems under pressure and take charge in a crisis. If anything, going on the Titan mission will make Fargo a better head of GD when he returns, assuming he gets his old job back.

Without paying to read the original article it's hard to tell what he means by "memory-dampening drugs" as opposed to "memory erasing drugs." I can't tell if he's just using it as a euphemism or not.

I agree there are cases when this would be a legitimate choice when a memory is particularly debilitating. But we shouldn't be wiping memories just because they're unpleasant.
