This is terrific. Still, in terms of cultural context, gotta say it’d make even more sense for this to be about the representation of Britain’s Asian (Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi) communities, rather than Black community.

It’s because this is a tactic that right-wingers are using to try and pull left-wingers over to their side via an emotional reaction, while simultaneously encouraging them to make being Caucasian central to their identity. It’s a pretty heady, noxious mix when you break it down.
