Do you think Iggy Azalea knows him?
Do you think Iggy Azalea knows him?
busy’s uber ride sounds fine. after 39 hours stuck in ATL airport, we got an uber from DFW at midnight and our driver would not shut. the fuck. up. telling me all about his son who is semi-pro ice hockey and how he trains all the athletes in texas, etc. etc.
And, he’s down at Mar-a-Lago because of course he is.
It shouldn’t have to be said, but I will say it anyway: If you voted for Trump because you “just didn’t like Hillary,” I will never fucking forgive you.
Your not alone.
Sometimes when I see ridiculous commercials, I try to imagine what that pitch meeting must have been like, and I feel like the phrase “protest is the new brunch” was uttered in this one.
I am so, so sad this show is over. I loved the book, and I had serious doubts when I heard the casting. But every single person was fantastic, and played those parts perfectly. They have all risen in my esteem, especially Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley.
My favorite part about the finale was when Celeste accepts what Jane has to say about Max. I thought for sure she was going to turn on Jane and was pleasantly surprised.
I think that is kinda what’s been lost on some who think this show was just about rich women with rich people issues. Abuse is abuse and abusers follow a classic pattern most times. Her leaving might have been easier financially, but that money sure as hell didn’t make it any less dangerous.
That ending was masterful and poignant and conveyed so much with zero dialogue. When the women left the men behind and stopped allowing the men to dictate how they should feel, all the competitive nastiness evaporated and they realized they were all on the same side.
Iunno. I think getting the shit beat out of you on a regularly basis is a pretty big “problem.”
I thought it was more about “all kinds of people are secretly unhappy/domestic violence happens in all kinds of households, even rich white ones” and also “women gotta be there for each other, stop holding each other to impossible standards and stop tearing each other down”
Rich white lady privilege means you can go rent another apartment. But it doesn’t mean you will safely escape.
It took me forever to finish the finale because I kept pausing to yell at Perry, encourage Celeste or cry. I loved this show. I read Reese Witherspoon wouldn’t mind another season but I hope it ends here.
We love your platform. 🎈😘🎈
This sounds like the conversations I have in my head, while preparing dinner, as to if someone placed me in charge of the government budget, and I could dictate how the money is spent, from which programs would I deduct, and to which would I add? And I can spend up to fifteen minutes in complex mental negotiations.…
Gotta feel kinda bad for her though, right? I mean this is a pretty awful thing to do to a person.
Boy, Poor Mischa has not had the life/career arc any of us (her included) would have imagined in 2003
