Yep, this is pretty much in line with what the rest of the cast has said. I feel like they were more annoyed than they publicly let on by JJ announcing a 4th movie without bothering to speak to any of them.

I feel like the will to make another one just isn’t there despite JJ Abrams’ best efforts. The last one was profitable but not hugely so and with Strange New Worlds filling the void for that era of Trek it just seems redundant.

Can we take a moment to note how great the Cerritos class uniforms look in live action. Definitely one of the best looking StarFleet uniforms and they did a great job translating the animation design into a workable uniform costume. Jack Quaid was brilliant as Boimler in live action too.
