Point of correction: murder-kidnap of a 13 yr old girl. They deleted messages from her voicemail inbox during the search, to see if any more would appear. Let's not make excuses for this jerk. Trucks are banned from all Parkways and he should know that since he does this for a living. He's a negligent idiot who destroyed a historic overpass and could have hurt someone. At a minimum, he should be stripped of his trucking license.

If you watch the video, you can see standard yellow signage for both bridges. 13'-3" and 10'-5".

It goes for EVERY Parkway on Long Island. If you get your CDL in New York or any of the surrounding states, it's common knowledge that there is absolutely no commercial traffic on the Parkways.

My guess as to why these two took it?

Well... it fits under there now.
