Im with you. The auto journo fever dream of a Corvette brand is based in the land of stupidity and lack of business sense. Corvette is a model, not a brand and just because Ford went full retard and named their electric crossover “Mustang” does not equate to sound business strategy.

Waste is pumped out at sea...just not within coastal waters...I think 10 miles from shore is the minimum distance to pump...makes for good fishing though.

You’re comparing a military that was built to overwhelm an enemy by sheer numbers to a military that overwhelms the enemy with sheer technological power.

Eeveryone is entitled to an opinion but this render is pretty lame. There are a few styling miscues on the C8 but they are minor quibbles for most. I will be buying a Z06 when they become available and the one design cue I hope they address is the side scoop. I just want it to look like the C8.R. If they don’t do this

There seems to be too many WoW acolytes here. Wow was fun, back before Cataclysm ruined everything by making every class basically a variation on 4 themes.

While I am completely against the “coal rolling bro-dozer” modifications, the politicizing and stereotyping in this article is ridiculous. You want to live your life as whatever political spectrum you are? Fine. Being a judgmental twat and making generalizations that show that your inclusiveness is hypocritical and

I dunno...I’m hitting the big 40 this year and can’t wait to buy one. The thing people keep failing to realize is that most of the world’s sports car purchasers are in the demographic all the millennials like to bash. YouTube personalities are not the normal buyers of any of these cars, it’s usually people who have

As a previous C7 owner and hopefully soon to be a C8 Z06 owner, at 6'5" you learn some tricks to fit. The first thing is that GM in their infinite wisdom uses proximity sensors behind the seat to keep it from hitting the rear firewall. If you don’t know this and you try to adjust the seat like any normal human

A Corvette brand is the wrong move...we have a very good example already in how that works out with the failed SRT brand by FCA. Corvettes are aspirational vehicles, to dilute the name with a “performance crossover” or electric car of some sort misses the point. I like the authors take on the potential of the Camaro

As a previous owner of an 87 and a 98 Supra, the new Supra was a let down of epic proportions. The Supra was defined by the crazy 80-90s war between Japanese auto makers to see just how crazy they could get. The 300ZX, Skyline, Supra, RX-7, and the 3000GT were all awesome because they were over the top Japanese takes

At first, there will be none, but that is because they aren't making 1LT's for the first allocations.  There are more than a few people who just want the looks and are content with the base no option model of the C8, and there are plenty of dealers selling everything at msrp.  I however am not one of them, I'm holding

I owned a C7 Z51 with 3LT in Shark Grey...not my first color choice but it grew on me. Bought it because the dealer knocked $10k off the brand new car which put it at about what I was planning to pay for a 2LT with fewer options.

Not even a question. C7 all day. The base stingray will run circles around the Supra stock for stock...but then you get to nodding the things and once again the C7 has a much more robust aftermarket...not to mention that it’s not BMW part pricing either, plus with the C8 coming out there are a ton of used after market

The thing is that perspective is f’ed up in all these pictures. People always forget that the Corvette interior is really quite small. My C7 interior was a bit bigger in volume than the C8 (supposedly) and the center tunnel at its widest point was maybe 10 inches. In Ferrari’s two men would have their shoulders

TLDR: Unions need to do more to help their members gain skills necessary to stay relevant in an automated manufacturing future.

Not really overcharging...you get damn good performance...with an actual pedigree and fit and finish only Porsche can do.  Tesla on the other hand builds cars with the quality hovering between Ford and kit cars.  But hey you get what you pay for...

They came out with their top tier “Turbo” and “Turbo S” models first. I expect that eventually we will see vanilla Taycans which will be a better comparison to the Model S base models. I would take the Porsche Taycan over any Model S though for the sheer quality of the brand. At least with Porsche you get a car that

Sigh politics is so hard...

I only allowed my closest friends and family ride or drive my toys, there is a certain level of trust needed to allow someone to do so. I equate it to allowing someone to hold your newborn child...do you trust someone explicitly enough to not harm your baby? I know that some people view cars and motorcycles as just

Eh, it's the same everywhere.  I currently lurk in the C8 forums as I really have nothing to contribute at this point, but I love all the pictures of the C8 caught in the wild!
