Skye, Katrina rescue, bad ass bitch, cutest doggie evar!

Ack! I’m so glad I missed that. I kept wanting to just scream at the screen for her to take the damned things off! Okay, it’s a horrible thing I do and get a thrill out of doing because...I don’t know why...but fix those nails, Ashley! Gawd.

That was driving me nuts! Her nails are half grown out and need a fill, and she was missing her left index finger nail. Of course, last time I had mine done, I was missing two, so who am I to talk. ...

I thought so :-)

I’m in Virginia Beach, and one of those odd natives of the area, and an ODU graduate of old. Very few people there were from the South; almost everyone I knew was from the northern regions. Norfolk is a Navy town, and full of transplants from all over.

I’m an olde; started in ‘80. That’s how long it’s been, and they’re STILL the douchiest frat on campus!

As an ODU graduate, I can tell you that a large number of students there are from New York, New Jersey, and points north.

Ah, my Alma mater. I knew before scrolling that it had to be Sigma Nu. What a “surprise.” Sigh...

Probably. My sister-in-law almost gave birth on the way to the hospital with her second. Her planned vbac became an unplanned natural childbirth in the ER instead.

My cousin gave birth on her bed while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Her two year-old waited at the door to let them in. That baby was just so fast!

Their Say Yes to the Dress episode is airing right now!

He’s a huge sports fan, so we usually take a road trip professional football game for his birthday, and we love to travel, so he does that extensively. He went on a school work trip to Fiji this summer! Next summer, his senior trip is to South Africa, so that’s covered, too. Huh! I guess all I need really is

My one and only has his first 18th and high school graduation this year, as well. He has a nice trumpet, and expensive baseball gear, and a car (even though it’s 10 years old) - so, what do we do? We planned on getting him a Mac for graduation. He has a new phone. Plenty of clothes. Not a big reader. I’M SO

I also planned on a natural childbirth, took classes, walked on the beach the first 24 hours of my labor, didn’t leave for the hospital until my water broke and I had showered and shaved, felt strong and mighty during my labor (thanks, breathing exercises!)....and am thankful I was at a hospital, because my son’s

We did not interact with the Masai :-( but I wish I had seen that. Everyone there was so kind, and my longish blonde hair drew some interest, for sure, but not as much as it did in Ecuador, where people wanted to touch it. And I loved the goats! They were cute as hell, and very confused by our presence, as they let us

I just found thier tails amusing as they ran, especially when being chased by another animal! So funny/ugly.

We did not :-( We slept in tents and peed in holes for 10 days, and found the Masai breathtaking. Out truck broke down there in the middle of thousands of goats and standing there, surrounded by screaming goats....amazing! We were there for the elections, in 2013, and the day we left, the protests had started in

Whoa!!! How did I not know of this? The giraffes were by far one of my favorite animals on the trip. Well, I found the warthogs adorable, and the hyena who camped outside my tent for three nights so I couldn’t get out to pee in the ground hole rather fun, but the giraffes were mesmerizing to me. I’m hoping to get to
