The only people I’ve heard saying that women need to vote for her because she is a woman are Bernie supporters accusing me of doing that, and the occasional loud, dumb celebrity that nobody takes seriously anyway.

Who is saying that, though? I’ve only heard it from Bernie supporters who ASSUME that I’m supporting her because of her gender (I’m not). I’m supporting her because she’s the candidate with the most experience can get shit done, and also to keep SCOTUS out of the hands of regressive Republicans.
Mexican too! Seconded! I hated Sanders too. My people voted for Hillary all over the US. No white feminist told us how to vote. We have a freaking brain!!!!!
Look I get you don’t like her. But don’t insult me by saying as a HC supporter I vote with my vagina. I’m a Mexican and I hated Sanders for voting for the Minute Men. They are hated by the majority of Texans along the border even border patrol fucking hates them.
if you are a feminist who cares about women you have a duty to vote for HRC because she’s the democratic nominee, not because she is a woman
You morons are the only ones who are obsessed with who our vaginas are voting for.
Granted I usually live under a rock and am actively trying to avoid a lot of the election coverage (b/c it’s more a circus than honest journalism), but these alleged “feminists” saying we need to elect Hillary b/c she’s a woman - I could swear this is mostly a strawwoman cooked up by Bernie and the RNC or trolls just…
Exactly. She earned my vote for other reasons, but I am totally, crazy stoked that a woman is the nominee!! This is historic - a huge moment - and nobody is going to make me feel bad about being excited!
Her speech, with its references to Seneca Falls and all the history that came before, was in perfect tune.
I’m waiting for someone else to say Yay, Hillary! so that they can shoulder the brunt of the anger and conspiracy theories.
I shed a couple tears after voting for Hillary and Kamala today. Pretty. Fucking. Cool.
Also the people ARE speaking. The candidate with the most superdelegates also has the most popular votes. So where’s the beef?
I feel like they’ve been careful because any support for Hillary is instantly jumped upon by the Bernie supporters as OMG SHILLING FOR SHILLARY.
I loved this, thanks for sharing it. She was amazing. She IS amazing. She is so intelligent, so poised, so strong. The fact that she has survived all of the people trying to tear her down over the last 4+ decades and is now our first female presidential nominee is incredible. She has hung in there when most people…
Are we allowed to be excited yet? I have a two year old daughter and this is just such a huge thing for her generation. She gets to grow up knowing you don’t have to be a white male to be president.
Oh my god guys, this is going to be soooo good.
I don't have work tomorrow and I'm a little drunk so I texted all my Bernie bro friends and broke the news and they are still trying to tell me he has a chance. It's cute.
No matter how you feel about her, 100 years ago American women didn’t even have the right to vote, so this is pretty cool.
It’s an adventure time reference...there is a princess hot dog.
