IKR? Like, you should have to get a permit for those things.

No way! I missed that part. So why the fuck was this even an issue at all? Omg now I am even more angry. I mean, thanks for the extra info but arghfufugufuuffufrgrrrrr *rage noise*

I’ve read a few more accounts of the situation & I think there may have been a plan to remove an outer layer and expose a more risqué inner layer that went awry- instead, it all came off. No matter how you slice it though, he did the removing intended or not yet she was to blame...for 1) having a breast accompanied by

Exactly & #sorrynotsorry but you KNOW if he had been a young black man instead of white he would have gotten some heat for it & been seen as a predator or something.

The featured image from the incident’s Wikipedia page also gives a good idea of the dynamic https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bow… To me, Timberlake looks like a douchey high school senior while Janet looks visibly upset. Like I said, even if it was planned doesn’t mean she was pleased with how it turned out. I

Now playing

It’s in the last ten seconds of this video. They were performing the Super Bowl halftime show together & at the end he “shockingly” ripped off the cup pad of her costume revealing her breast. Whether or not it was planned, SHE got a ton of shit for it even though he was the one who actively exposed her. She just stood

Yes!!!! I was never a fan but that shit made me really dislike him. From what I remember, there wasn’t anyone bringing up that point despite all the think pieces. Also, I believe it may have been called “Nipplegate.”

I watched that a few nights ago bc I think Rachel Weisz & Saoirse Ronan are great actors, but whoa was it disappointing. Awful movie.

Consider it saved. I will extend “privileged” commuters to include the majority of car owners. I truly do not understand how so many stick up their nose at public transportation but whatever. It’s the attitude that annoys me. Now that I’m not in Ktown I don’t use it as much but it doesn’t horrify my delicate

Have you checked out the extensions/ new lines lately? It’s got a great reach now, so I’d say to give it a shot. I think most people are just repeating what they’ve heard instead of taking a look. Sure, it takes planning and an understanding of where to switch lines but it's not bad.

I used it alllllll the time when I lived in Ktown. I’m in East LA now & cannot believe it reaches Santa Monica. It’s not as convenient to get to my nearest station anymore but I’m still thrilled with the option to go all the way across town without having to worry about traffic or parking.

Me, too! TBF whenever I mention that I took the metro somewhere, most people look perplexed or horrified. Car culture has a stranglehold out here & I think I’m so down with public transit bc of my East Coast roots. Certain circles *cough, privileged white folks, cough* DO NOT appear to consider the Metro an option.

I think the correct number for this particular Crime Stoppers Hotline is 1-800-577-BALLS

I just want to congratulate Gothamist on their relevant advertising.

That’s a good point, but I do feel like there was a Sanders lean. Maybe that was more from the Gawker reposts...

Exactly! I was wondering when Jezebel was going to look favorably on the possibility of our first female president...

Yeah, I was pretty surprised. My mom is cool in many ways but definitely not ever like, “Let’s talk about your sex life!” which is fine by me. Lol.

When I moved across country, I’d left behind a few boxes for my mom to mail out. Once I’d arrived in CA, I realized that I DID NOT need everything in the remaining boxes since I’d significantly overestimated my new apartment’s space limits. My wonderful mother volunteered to go through the boxes on the phone with me

The original Twilight Zone series has been a great addition. I like how each one stands alone so I don’t feel the need to binge them. I've also really enjoyed Documentary Now.

I love my Fitbit! No one accepts my challenges anymore though :(
