At 6'6", the NB is a perfect fit for me. I ripped out the rear seat (bottom) after 1 month and have had the rear seat back folded down ever since, creating a much more useful hauler. I've considered taking out the seat back too, ripping up the carpet and putting down a nice aluminum extruded floor and mounting the

Have you not seen the most excellent "Sons of Anarchy". Her best performance ever, and I would go so far as to say she even far exceeds her compatriots in the show.

I agree with you that a suspicious airliner at this point WOULD get a lot of attention, however, the plane seems to of already evaded any sort of military response from India, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan etc. assuming it flew over their airspaces on its way to some secret landing strip.

What other purpose would there be to steal a plane, other then to use it as a weapon. I don't have that much confidence on the US's ability to come through in a hitch. This plane will be repainted to a nice UPS brown, transponder codes updated, and ........

The next time we see this plane it will be directed toward One World Trade Center.

When I play golf I make full use of the rough. Still fun for me. I see the VW vs the Subaru similarly. The Bugaboo is just getting his money's worth using the FULL course.

Makes me like it even more.

I watched the video of the '67 Baracuda in another Jaopnik thread, then I watched this one. The guy kept saying this car was all about fun, but I think I could have a lot more "fun" in the Cuda. It's all relative I guess.

I owned an 83 spider and genuinely loved it despite a few flaws. The Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection system was very dependable and the engine (although a bit under-powered) was still a joy at full throttle. The frame was a bit flexible so throwing it into a hard corner and then lifting the throttle mid turn was a

Unless it has a pop-top and a built in stove and frig and a VW logo on the front, I'm not interested.

Really? What does Obama have to do with an engine used in an Italian car from the early 1990's?

Can we talk about traffic circles now. I love them. Such an entertaining game of chicken. If you're in the circle you can legally hit any vehicle that doesn't yield. Then there is the most enjoyable game of passing straight through the circle and the opposing car that is about to enter the circle doesn't know

The centrally mounted exhaust is a hindrance if you want to mount a trailer hitch. Just makes the car more useful. I have a trailer hitch mounted bike rack.

Just did a build of that particular Audi on the audiusa website. To get to $154,500 I added every single option except ceramic brakes (a $9900 option). The car is loaded. It could of been had for $128K with no options and a manual transmission. Not sure how they got to $157k, maybe they add delivery fee.

With all of those serial processes used to isolate the Mendelevium it seems there is substantial opportunity for experimental error to creep in. Frankly, I doubt the results. Or I can also see this as an incredible accomplishment given the lack of sophistication of the measuring equipment at the time compared to

Based on information from the National Fire Safety Bureau, there are on average 17 car fires per hour. So I don't see any need at all for the NHTSA to do anything (at this point). Let the insurance company hash it out and I'm sure Tesla will want to perform some due diligence also. But no call for everyone to get

Who even drives a car 3 million miles in a life time. Say you buy a car at age 20 and you croak at 80, that would still be 50,000 miles per year average. The economics of doing that is ridiculous. That would be about 2000 gallons of gasoline per year ($8000) x 60 = $480,000. Not to mention the multitude of engine

Ummmmm, after 59 years on this planet, there is only one guaranteed woman attractor - and it doesn't matter how old or young you are. One word: puppies. Works every time.

I had a 91 164S bought used (for about $11k) when it had about 90K miles on it.  It was a bit troublesome.  A near fire when the air conditioning compressor locked up and then resultantly over heated the belt.  That was exciting.  I never could trust the oil pressure gauge.  It was all over the place.  Should of fixed

Understand, but in my opinion it is exacerbated by LASIK because the contour of your cornea has now been optimized for distance vision and the muscles are not strong enough to counteract this and bring closer things into good focus.
