I have been trying to think of the way I which Trump is unique and different from previous Presidents, and largely failing. But I finally came up with an answer recently and it’s more or less what you wrote here (although mine is much less thought out and not entertaining).

Every single one of these, and all of the comments on this post, are dick/cum jokes. It is irrefutable.

That makes sense. Cooking and eating are inherently communal activities. There is some zen benefits of doing it just for yourself, but it’s definitely serving different desires.

I enjoy cooking for myself because I can try weird things and fuck it up without consequence. But cooking for other people is still better. I’m not going to go over the top for myself. I’m not spending hours making Julia Child’s Boeuf Bourguignon for one. That’s psychopath shit.

I’m 6'5" and it always blows my mind when I realize a PG is the same height as me. Not every guard is that tall, but plenty are. And they look tiny on the court. Hell, I can play center in just about any pickup game and I’m way too short to even be a forward on a real team.

When they came up with the name Wizards, did they know the franchise was cursed or was that a lucky guess?

Oh, for sure, every pro athlete is basically a different species from us lard-asses. I’m not even sure if I would conclusively say NBA players are “better athletes.” Just that the incredible specialization, even down to body type, makes these crossover questions absurd.

Antonio Gates is also only 6’4”. He’s barely tall enough to be a point guard. Gronkowski is 6’6” and he looks like an adult among children on the field. He would be below average size at any given moment on an NBA court.

Can I kinja in line tho?

A great mixture of players who are infuriatingly butt (Wiggins and Oubre), were always going to be butt (Kaminsky and Ball), or inexplicably butt (Fultz).

Yeah, a bunch of them just mention whichever PAC paid for the ad and it’s entirely opaque as to which party the candidate is with. I think it’s a recognition that the party brands are toxic.

At least the racist ad is clear what side it’s for. I’ve spent the past month seeing Republican ads attacking Democratic candidates for being business men, and for not supporting healthcare, so it’s been very confusing.

That’s definitely not true.

That thread is great. I had no idea how few pieces they had. It’s easy to forget that signing old dudes isn’t just a problem for one year, it also means you aren’t hanging on to those middle tier young guys you need to even field a team the next year.

The original silent majority.

Machine politics from the late 1800s/early 1900s get a bad rap, but they were undeniably great at getting voters to the polls. Often more than once, sure, but they got voters to care.

I was at the game and it felt gross.

It’s only tampering if they’re still in the NFL. I’m sure Warren Sapp told Gruden he could still play.

All holidays, like all dogs, are good. It’s no Arbor Day, but Halloween is swell.
