He didn’t say that - it’s just blogger snark that Jezebel’s Grandpa didn’t get the nomination

Sorry if I’m missing an obvious troll, but do you believe Bernie actually said “hold your nose and vote for Biden”?

Turn out what voters? Even in primaries Bernie got trounced in, he got 15-35% of the vote. Those are people who actually voted, in a Democratic primary. I’m guessing it is not in Biden’s game plan to lose 15-35% of DEMOCRATIC voters, actual Democratic voters.

Bernie couldn’t even turn out those voters, troll.

In the midst of a pandemic with a literal madman as incumbent is no time to throw a fit because your candidate didn’t win.  For the love of all decent people, please put your grudges with the democratic party aside and vote for Biden.

Remind me again how Biden was the only electable one?

Wait is this some kind of joke? The last person who should be used as an example of a sympathetic figure is Briahna Joy Gray who was easily one of the WORST of the online “Bros.” She was STILL attacking other candidates the day Bernie announced he wasn’t contesting the race, anymore.

So after spending all primary season telling everyone that all bad behavior from “bernie bros” was not representative of bernie supporters and in fact “bernie bros” were a media invention that does not exist (ignore all the snake emojis) - we can go ahead and start calling everyone “biden bros” cause one thing

Look, I’m sorry your guy didn’t win—it really, really sucks when someone you admire loses (hey, ask me how I know!). However, playing a game of tit-for-tat is tiresomely childish, and won’t yield what you want: if the standard Biden needs to hit is to strongly call out this behavior once—as you carefully note Sanders

I’m convinced that many of then now want Trump to win so that they can say “I told you so.”

“Well, Joe, if your supporters are online mocking the very people you will need to support you come November, you might just have to grapple with the fact that it might who some of them are, and get a hold on that situation fast.”

Insignificant point but...

Yeah, and WOMP FUCKING WOMP.

Bernie has had a lot of successes in his legislative career.

Oh for fuck sake.

So unexciting that the extremely exciting candidate didn’t turn out enough to beat him?  Your argument seems like one that immediately defeats itself.

Except he’s the only Dem candidate to actually increase voter turnout in several states. Why does everyone forget this? If Bernie had done the same would this even be a narrative?

I don’t much care for the guy, but I’m voting for him anyway. I think the “nostalgia” isn’t so much about harkening back to Obama as it is fixing on a guy who knows how government is supposed to function — what all the parts do, what’s needed from them and what needs to be supplied to them. Add in a sprinkle of

It simply is NOT TRUE that Bernie “took a dream of a strong social safety net with him.”

OK, can we stop with the line that it’s a Dem’s fault (either Biden for encouraging participating, or Bernie for not dropping out sooner) that Wisconsinites had to go out on Tuesday and vote in the Primary? It’s been ALL OVER these sites for the last few days, and it sucks.
