At this point, I’ve stopped using the word “privilege” with White people and with other men because they deliberately misinterpret it as a way of dodging the conversation and I now use “circumstance” instead.

Israel Horovitz.
I’d also add Jon Gabrus to the list. Gino is a very underappreciated character. And Gabrus has excellent improv chops.
I love all the weird shit Todd says Scott makes him do when they’re alone. It’s never outright abusive or sexual, but it always messed up in a really weird and specific way (like Todd slurping spaghetti in Scott’s ear while he wears a blindfold or “playing computer”).
Well I was just listing my particular favorite set of eps, but yes all PFT episodes are a safe bet (as well as anything with Lauren Lapkus, Bob Ducca, Nick Kroll, Gino, James Adomian, Neil Campbell, Mike Hanford, Ben Schwartz, Horatio Sanz, Amy Poehler, Bobby Moynihan, Thomas Middleditch, Paul Rust or (R.I.P.) Harris…
If I was just starting out listening to CBB I’d recommend running through all the Jason Mantzoukas-Andy Daly episodes.
I don’t know what there’s really to get about it. It’s the show where they talk to interesting people. It’s right there in the tagline.
As a VT grad and unabashed Tyrod fan, I was outraged over the decision to bench him. Watching Nick Wright’s take on it, and the stats to back it up, made it smell even more, both as a football decision AND a socio-political one. I hoped Peterman would fail spectacularly.
Yes sir, you have won Today’s Internet! (Sirens go off, bells ring, confetti falls from ceiling.’).
I thought the last 10 months would have been sufficient warning about the dangers of replacing a competent black man with an inexperienced and unqualified white guy, but here we are again.
McDermott’s innovative gameplan to tire out the Chargers’ secondary is some next level thinking.
But Lauren, you’re forgetting his POISE! You can’t teach 6'2" and POISE! That boy is POISE-on!
Not entirely true.
I can be wrong on occasion and take things out of context. But to say that it happens whenever I comment is unfair.
Perhaps whenever you see me comment? That might be true. You probably don’t see every comment I ever make.
I also make very earnest comments about how much I love Porgs. Porgs Porgs…
Who do you have to fuck to get an A- around here?
Cold open: The Dwarves are fighting for their lives. The drums are banging out a staccato rhythm. A giant troll grabs one of the Dwarves by his feet and lifts him up.
Everything. I want everything from this new show. I want the moon and the stars.
But mostly I want a bunch of stories about Dwarves. Dwarves > Elves
In all seriousness, an anthology-type show would be best. How amazing would it be to watch the tale of the Dwarves in Khazad-Dum as they try to survive the goblin siege?
Boromir: One does not simply walk into Mordor.
I believe the correct AV Club version of this joke is “Spike Lee angrily tweets John Grisham’s home address.”
If you can find on the internet a “both sides do it” left-wing equivalent of memes that simply make up photoshops of conservative figures engaged in ostensibly anti-American activities and pass them around social media to convince people they’re real, feel free to let us know. This is a phenomenon unique to a certain…
I can’t speak to the legitimacy of the Bennett photo, but I do know this picture is real and it pisses me off. Really, though, we all kind of secretly knew.
