Some of the most racist stuff I’ve ever heard was while I was living in southern Mexico. I was talking to a man who needed periodic medical care for his feet because they’d been eaten by some sort of fungus, and all he could talk about was how “blacks don’t value hygiene. They just don’t care.”

That’s the promo. That’s what’s in the title.

So Apple should just get a free pass, then? “Yeah, Apple screwed over thousands upon thousands of people who spent millions of their dollars on faulty hardware, but I hate lawyers so nothing to see here. Move along.”

You’re right, your bank account is incontrovertible proof of your worth as a person. Thank you for all the good that you do.

That’s when I knew USB-C would really start taking over. I dislike Apple’s ethos as much as the next guy, but they were only a couple years early on adopting USB-C as their only port. Cables and adapters are getting cheaper and more plentiful and the USB-C standard is incredibly powerful.

Get yourself a USB-A and USB-C combo flash drive

I have one like that, but it’s pretty unreliable. I ended up with this dock, which I absolutely love at work:

Bad conversations are merely two people talking to a wall. Neither really pay that much attention, and are only biding their time until they talk again.

Exactly what I came here to say. It’s a decent abrupt ending, but it can also give you an opportunity to own the suckiness of your story. “Ok, not really, but I realized too late that story sucks. Hey, who wants a drink?”

Cut my food into pieces.

This is such a great idea. I can’t wait to read more tips from other parents. Thanks, Michelle!

Glad I could help! It’s the simplest thing, but it teaches them a lot of important stuff. Keep gathering those daddy tools, cuz you’ll need all of them at some point. Good luck, and enjoy every minute!

My wife has gotten into the habit of nursing our baby to sleep, despite my protests. I’m home alone with the kids at bedtime sometimes three days a week, but rarely less than two. It’s interesting to see how my wife’s habits differ from my own. Also interesting in that she almost never nursed our twins to sleep. She’s

Sleep training isn’t easy, but rarely is good parenting easy. Until later. Later on it makes things MILES easier.

I agree. I’ll never judge someone for doing what works for them, but I also won’t hesitate to tell them there’s a better way. That better way is to make noise while your kids sleep. Yeah, you’re going to wake them up, but as babies they’re waking up anyway. After a few weeks of vacuums and TV and dishwashers and

1000% agree with this. We went out of our way to make noise while our twins slept. Vacuuming, watching movies, doing dishes, whatever. They learn to sleep in whatever environment they’re in most often. If that environment is in constant flux they learn to sleep in any environment. That’s where our twins are now. They

Ours shared a crib. The pediatrician said it’s a bad idea, but while they’re swaddled they don’t move much. As soon as they stopped liking to be swaddled we split them up.

Congrats! Mine are boys, too. IT’S AWESOME!

Oh that is ROUGH! I feel for you. But you said “was,” so it sounds like you survived! Congrats! We aren’t done yet (according to my wife), so I’m now a bit envious of YOU.
