Guns do get jealous.
Who gets to decide how bad your neighborhood has to be before having a gun for protection is a good idea?
Gun safes are relatively cheap. If all you want to do is go to a range to shoot, you’re better off just renting guns at the range. Every range I’ve ever been to has dozens of guns available to rent for pretty cheap. If you want to own a gun, own a gun. If not, don’t. Owning it and keeping it somewhere else wouldn’t…
That’s not universally true. There are plenty of people who grew up shooting and have no desire to ever own a gun. There are also plenty of people who go shooting for the first time and hate it. I own several guns, but “putting holes in paper” is at best a once-a-year thing for me because it’s kind of expensive and…
YES. I do support for IT & AV systems for locations across the country. I often get emails that don’t even mention the issue until paragraph 4. “We were having an event for a business presentation yesterday and there was a problem. They booked several weeks ago and didn’t tell us what computer they were bringing in so…
That’s... kinda what I was trying to say.
I don’t think he knows about second breakfast, Pip.
The article says that, but the post zegota was replying to doesn’t. It says something different.

I think the issue isn’t dinner at 3-4pm vs dinner at 6-7pm. I think the poster’s issue was dinner at 3-4pm and then dinner at 6-7pm. So basically four meals per day as the norm.
My sister does exactly that for her kids. When they get home they know that they only get a snack if they ate everything in their lunchbox. Otherwise the lunchbox is their snack (or “dinner,” if we’re calling it that).
I’m curious now. Where did she overstep? I’ve never rented just a room so I’ve never had that dynamic of sharing spaces that literally belong to someone else. It’s always been apartments and houses. What was she doing that was unacceptable in your situation?
Pet deposit. We have a winner.
On-premises bucket usage surcharge.
Nuke Perth, too.
Fair enough. I figure I’m pretty set in my ways for about 80% of what I do. If some of the other 20% is seen negatively I’m willing to change that, but it’s at least good to know how my 80% is being perceived, even if I have no intention of changing it.
