I love small cars and despise large barges, if only for the sake of the environment. I had one, a Mini. Even test drove the Smart when it came out, just wasn’t for me, but I recognize they had a place. And like I wrote, I want to like the 500, I really do. Its when owners have sought me out to comment on their own

Randoms would ask me about my 2003 Mini when I still had it. I never recommended one. Now a 2006 model year, yeah. None of the others though. Mine was a nice driver, I put a lot of miles on it. But I fought hard to put those miles on it at the cost of opening my wallet and losing all dignity.

To be honest, and no personal offense to you, the 500 was an absolute shit car. The european reviews approved it, I even wanted to like it. But everyone that I know that owned one regretted in doing so, some with the most obscure complaints in ownership I’ve ever heard.

pretty sure a snappy caption on a cardboard sign at stop light would catch you more than $20/hr over 3hrs and without the overhead of gas & insurance.

That is a LOT cheaper than a truck and a trailer.  Maybe not easier.

Elsewhere in the comments an observation was made that this man can drive.  Also, the car was pretty fast.  So...

If Sue in Accounting didn’t create it, the art was farmed out to the lowest Craigslist bidder, Brandon age 13 of southern Mississippi, who

Its metric system.

I read an article a while back (wish I could remember the name so I could link it) about the technolgy gap and how its rapid growth (improvement) creates a gap between the technologies it leaves behind. For example, the 3.5"Floppy. There’s historical data saved on 3.5" Floppy somewhere that isn’t back up to a relevant

I don’t see how this is particularly difficult to comprehend. Look at the US, N. Korea, China. Look at any nation developing weapons and/or publicizing war drills. Its leverage to assert power over other countries, power to manage threats to their national security and foreign interests. There would already be the

Not to be “that” guy, I’ve driven on gravel roads in sedans. :\

I swear she’s shooting lasers from her eyes.  Don’t want that shit scanning my food.

Ok, so those headlights and taillights look like they came from the Autozone parts bin. Interior looks great. 7/10 on execution.

Those are some expensive Crocs.

I think you’ll agree we’re quite good at fucking ourselves.
