I’d take the older NA ~300hp V6 Escape for towing over the newer Ecoboost.

I concur with your statement as a 1.0L Ecoboost Focus 6spd owner. This car seems to like boost and on/off throttle inputs. Mid 40s mpg, very easily achievable.

I will admit to eyes glazing over as I see essentially the same restomod car (my opinion) over and over. I’m to the point where I don’t even bother taking a look anymore at muscle cars depending on the company I have. I see your point about removing everything that made it a Cam-er-o.
