Before I was born, my mom rolled a 70's Honda Civic after another driver failed to stop at an intersection. My dad raced one too before going to a Dodge Colt RS twin stick and winning a National Championship. He said growing up, his family owned a few Kaisers. He dated my mom while owning a 70s Cutlass 442 - he said Read more

Dropping 10 grand is very easily achieved for ANY restoration. What I’m impressed with is how far that 10 went.

I watched the video and after it ended I went on with my life. I didn’t stew over physics and the maths. I didn’t find others to align in agreement that the tesla is ugly or neat or that the Ford is a capable adversary. No protractors and slide scales were broken out. No gestures at the screen with my hands trying to Read more

You may be right.  I think the 380 was aircooled.  Don't recall the 500.

I would argue the window of reliability changes by mfg. Sure, everything is reliable to certain time/distance per make. What that window is exactly, changes. Read more

The problem I have with this is the Suzuki GT380, 500, and 750 are referred to as “water buffalo”. This is not a water cooled 3cyl 2-stroke - albeit not referred to as “water” but “flaming,” whatever that’s supposed to mean.  When I hear “buffalo,” I think of these three suzukis. Read more

My 9yr old shares the perspective of 99.8% of the driving population. Its the same perspective that brought on the automatic, and now autonomous technology. People want to be lazy af with zero accountability. And me too, but with a pay raise.

My 9yr old asked me the other day why my car is so difficult to drive. “Difficult?” I asked? “You have to shift gears all the time.”

The worst I’ve seen are the bathrooms. WTF, did everyone forget that anything that comes out of the body needs to go directly into the toilet? The floor is not the toilet. The wall and sink are not the toilet. And please, for all the kittens and puppies and laughter in babies, wash your hands after using the Read more

Similar story. I got into Volvos and realized a close friend of mine had a ES1800.I kept in touch with him over the years and last year sent him an email and didn’t get a reply. He died last October suddenly. Fast forward to couple months ago and I found out his family sold his very well taken care of ES well short Read more

Glad he still has the car after his builder Robert (iamtheonlyreal1)/ Swedish Ops embezzled money from buyers and intended not to deliver. I believe he recently got out of jail and flipped a Datsun on BaT.

I gave up trying to read MS because a Porsche Panamera ad appeared between EVERY couple of sentences.  Closing (by google) and refreshing the browser didn’t make the ad disappear.  This sucks.

Don’t forget, no smart phone. So seller would have to grab up his polaroid and wait for it to develop. Then go to Kinko’s to have Jason (who hates his life) help scan it to digital media for 30cents/min. You would then be emailed an oddly-sized image placed not has an attachment, but inline with the text, somehow Read more

I love classic vehicles. Reboots aren’t necessarily bad unless they’re poorly envisioned - like the the Chevy Blazer, WTF? But here, we have a staged photo op of a historic icon next to what is essentially the debut of Ford’s Jeep killer. Pull out all the stops. Don’t smoke-and-mirror me into believing there is a Read more
