First of all, making a pretty massive assumption about what “works in IT” means. I work in IT. I work with lots of other people who work in IT. Half of us are specialists in certain fields and don’t know shit about any other field. That’s how IT generally works.

Yes I’m aware of that. They’re also a multi-billion dollar company that has been moving towards unifying their platform for several years. I’m quite certain it’s already being worked on and will happen at some point.
