Ha ha but this whole camera system is a fail if it can’t even figure out if there is an actual AUTOMOBILE attached to whatever it’s trying to detect.

Off grid-camping...

And other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?

I know 2 people who had their Citations split in half.

There’s going to be a million people agreeing with you, so I’ll just get this out of the way now.

Aston Martin did an in-house electric conversion that was way more respectful of the base car. It’s a self-contained unit that re-uses the original motor mounts, so it can easily be reversed. The rest of the car is unchanged.

When you say “totaled it” I keep envisioning a 5mph slow-speed nudge and the whole thing just folding up like a piece of paper.

And then started a Rio racing league.

An Isuzu? They should have said it beat every car in the world by 1000% while costing less than its weight in pennies and using less gas than the Queen produces in public of a lifetime of 800 and 734 billiony billion miles.

You know, when it was time to overhaul my Fulvia Coupes engine last year, I inquired to a local shop that specializes in electric conversions of classic cars. They gave me an estimate of 60 fucking thousand euros. Aka 3 times what the whole car is worth. So I happily paid 10% of that and I now have hotter cams, forged

Half of the joy of driving an old car anyway is the old power train with the associated noises and smells (at least for me).

Why? Seriously, electric cars might be the future, but ultimately converting your classic car to electric does nothing and screams virtue signaling. We should be regulating shipping industries, manufacturing and imposing stricter regulations for air travel. Personal vehicles are only a minute part of the overall

I really want to believe that someone went in to trade their Aventador for like, 40 new Rio’s.

Good thing the market is flooded with wagons…. Oh wait.

What I heard was, “I can’t take it anymore. I regetted my decision almost immediately after purchase, but kept up the charade until I was down to $5k, so I wouldn’t be underwater. Get me out of this crap box before I gnaw my limbs off.”

He’ll just use torque vectoring instead.

Counterpoint: We should give him more.

In the late 90s, Chevy had a “Rally Sport” version of the Cavalier. I’m confident no one ever rallied one.

The Corolla S.  Exactly the same mechanicals as the base model but it has bigger wheels and the plastic caps on the chin and bumper.

If it helps, here it is near a Toyota Sports 800 and a Skoda 110MB
