Oh yeah? Well you can experience what that’s like here in good ole California.... Good thing we’re working from home due to the pandemic... It was over $4.50 last time I filled my tiny little truck.

In a weird way, Genesis is actually perfectly positioned to become a full-EV company, because so few people who know the brand. I remember my entire Genesis ownership experience was, “It’s a what?

Re 5th:

Solves arguably the biggest issue for people who don’t have driveways, most of whom live in dense areas where a short range EV is also most useful.

Yeah, that’s why I’ve been taught to never stand between the two vehicles when stopped at a shoulder and to try to stand on the other side of the barrier if there is one.

Pro tip: drive your f@@@ing own car people!

Teslas have poor build quality, and Elon’s antics don’t help, either.

This is both a perfect answer, and something I got to learn about today!

IBAP - Industria Brasileira de Automóveis President (Brazilian Industry of Automobiles Presidente). It was founded in ‘63, and aimed to be the first 100% Brazilian automaker. The 120 original workers were also owners of the company, participated on the board of directors, could become resellers and had generous price

Gotta be Lotus, doesn’t it? Since unlucky, to me, means companies afflicted by things beyond their control, Lotus has had to deal with founders unexpectedly dying, constant shuffling around between owners, laws changing to make their product harder to sell...

Just swap a Bentley W12 in it

Here’s a fairly reserved, yet still fun idea:

I won’t be so bold as to think I know THE most underrated car ever, but I would guess that many Chryslers of the ‘80s onward could be in the running. Yes, build quality of was lackluster, but damn if some really interesting-but-unappreciated stuff come out of them at the time.

I’m an old Millennial, the first generation that has no real memories of the Cold War, and, as such, I’ve only read about it. It seems more ridiculous with each passing year. For several decades two countries played a game of chicken with the highest stakes possible because they were mad about capitalism and

Does it really matter? He was braking. Yes, he was turning, but that is not the only reason someone would be braking - there could have been a child/animal etc in the road in front that the other driver couldn’t see. He was hit by a vehicle at double the limit, a vehicle that also failed accident avoidance 101 -

What you said is kinda blaming the victim here... even if the driver wasn’t signalling a turn the car slowing down with its brake lights on was more than enough to alert anybody behind to slow down so it’s 100% the truck driver’s fault.

For speed bumps, yes. Speed humps however are less annoying for drivers obeying the speed limit, but they’d straight up yeet that truck.

Lack of housing density isn't an excuse to not to have speedbumps, it's the reason people speed and therefore why speedbumps might be necessary.

who the hell hoons a 12 year-old, four cylinder wagon?

Calling a half-assed unfinished project truck a rat rod does not make it a rat rod. ND.
