I’d agree with most of that statement.  I’d take exception to two things, however.  Vehicle bloat.  Regulation mandated BS has made the exterior design of cars not very flattering.  And the size/increased weight of cars really sucks, though only for the enthusiast.  Average Joe Blow doesn’t care that his formerly 2800…

This is a great reminder of not jumping to conclusions without having all of the facts. The cell phone video suggests a much different picture than what actually happened.

That’s sort of the way I’m reading it. Particularly given that they note that CHP ‘caught up’ to the suspect later on. Seemed to imply that they let him run and tried to intercept him at a specific spot.
