Jason, there’s no need to go nuts over this. I know we’d all be screwed without the various types of fasteners in our cars, but this was hardly a riveting post. (Although, I will say that photo of the Spyker shows they really know how to nail an interior.) I realize you’re probably just trying to hit your quota so you

Things that are inside are more reliable that things outside? Number of cars I have broken a door handle on, 1. Number of cars where a window motor went out, 5. It really doesn’t matter where it is placed, a simple lever will be more reliable than a sensor.

You joke, but a cabover pickup would be so rad.

The Chevy Goliath, making 80's kids cry at a dealer near you

Hey, where’d you find the leaked photos of the 2025 Silverado?

They’re very common near schools or large factories on major roadways. Most of the time, the light doesn’t need to be active, but comes in handy at start/end of the day when you suddenly have an extra 1000 cars at that spot.

Seriously, how obtuse do you need to be to stop in a moving traffic lane, which may have cars driving upwards of 80mph if you’re on the freeway, just because you missed your exit?

In regards to regularly encountered bad behavior, cell phone use of any kind is obviously up there.

I have my first on the way and as a rally enthusiast - this is what I’m secretly hoping for

“ It doesn’t sit well with me that we use the female body as a tool to sell something”

I appreciate your view here Elizabeth, thanks for sharing.

I was once forced to take shelter from a tornado .under an overpass on the KS turnpike. Back then (before cellphone warnings), it was possible to get caught by surprise like that. I was driving a semi, lightly loaded, and the tornado was heading towards me from the side. Most of the 4-wheelers on the highway that day

Pulling into a huge parking lot (say, something like Costco). As the driver, you’re scanning all over and also hyper aware that there’s lots of cars, people, carts, etc. So having your passenger just make a mild gesture and say “there’s a spot over there” is USELESS. And godforbid you don’t immediately turn that

Quit opening the windows. I have the aircon on to keep us cool, having the windows open just leads to increased road noise, poor gas mileage, and a breeze running across the back of my neck which will give me a sore neck the next morning. So quit it. Also, stop trying to tell me if there is traffic coming when I come

I really hate the 2.3 4cyl in virtually every Ford Tempo. Loud, slow, coarse, and with the automatic short several gears.

split between my ex wife’s college car, 84 escort wagon auto and the 3.0 Mitsubishi v6 motor in our 89 Chrysler minivan that we owned in the mid 90s, that burned nearly as much oil as gas and we trailed blue smoke everywhere.

Pair the Fuel Shark with the Tornado air intake fan and you’re living in 2121.

Oh shit, I think you’ve cracked the code. It should be sharks based on size! Drive a small car? Get the Mako. Large car/CUV? Bullshark. SUV? Great white. Stupidly large truck to compensate for your fragile ego? Baby, you need the MEGALODON.

We don’t “put off” maintenance, that’s why we are still able to daily drive our old vehicles ;)
