Given that most kids these days don’t learn to drive manuals, the population that can drive them (and thus desire them) seems like it is going to shrink. My dad’s generation is starting to buy their childhood dream cars, but my generation largely can’t drive them.
I once had a Mazda dealer tell me he wouldn’t sell his worst enemy an RX-8. He was trying to sell me an MS3 at the time.
Name a car that you wouldn’t wish ownership of on your worst enemy. I’m not talking about a boring car, a slow car or an ugly car, but a car that does everything it can to make your life worse.

As you stated the new car is a “nicer” car. My question is though, WHY? Why does every car have to get nicer? Why cant companies just continue to offer a car for what it is? Why do they keep trying to have a car grow with the audience it is currently hot with? All that does is necessitate a NEW base model to come in…
