Honda's a good brand
That made me laugh. #cotdnominations
Well, ideally the federal law would change so that they have no reason to try and impound these cars.
Glad to see this up here, everyone who wants to see more Jalop-style cars should get onboard with this petition, and spread the word.
Fender-mounted mirrors? Instant win.
Ok that just made me dizzy... I'm sure a different camera angle would be cool, but this? No thanks.
I used to assume sarcasm, but found that commenters like you who actually know what they are talking about are few and far between (seriously most front page commenters are idiots).
The live axle is better at putting the power down in a straight line. But if you're accelerating through or out of a corner, the IRS will most likely have the edge.
A roll cage is designed to work with a full racing seat and harness and a helmet and HANS device. Putting in a roll cage without all of these things actually puts the driver more at risk.
The biggest reason was just because it kept R&D and repair costs down. Live axle is great for on the drag strip, but through the twisties IRS is a better choice.
Well with the supercharger they probably want to get as much air running through there as possible. I'm sure they could cram it in there with a normal hood, but cooling could become an issue. Also, then people wouldn't know that you are driving a fast car, so what's the point?
"Feds probe GM tranny"... I won't even go there...
1410 lb power pack? So how much does this thing weigh overall now? They must be getting into heavy-duty truck territory here, especially once I add all my bulletproofing...
That would be a foot long roll at most. It prevents wheelspin time from being calculated into the quarter mile time, so that driver error does not effect the results.
Yeah, but if you get bigger rims, you can lower your car's PI, so you can add more engine upgrades and still be in your target class!
In the quarter mile? I'm calling bullshit on that. I have seen one minivan in my life that could break the 100 mph mark in the 1/4 mile, and it was running 20 lbs of boost...
Yeah, in the video for that they said #3 was only supposed to be there for a week.
#cotdnominations , only so that we can have tons of confused people :)
You're just gonna have to wait for the Cadillac SRX-V...
