Here's the thing. I'd want a car that does everything the GTI does. It's gotta be fun....

Well fuel consumed depends entirely on how much they drive it, which is not given, so I am not quite sure how you can claim bullshit. But I agree their number seems a bit low.
Well the original articles states "A San Diego Unified spokeswoman said upkeep for the vehicle is estimated at $500 a year."
Short of inflatable giant bubbles
I believe those are the containers that hold the C4 / rocket. You can see them loading them into the vehicle at 1:10 in the second video.
Looks like the two guys on the left ran out of bleach for their uniforms. The one guy is even hiding his face in shame.
Its is not smooth but instead threaded like a giant screw. You can see the grooves a bit better in this photo.
I think it is a great blank statement. I started with a '06 GSXR600 and consider myself a very conservative rider. Hell, I have still never had the bike over 85mph. But in those first couple years there were a few times even riding like an old grandma the bike was too much for me. Hitting some road debris on a…
Is it just me, or do those vessels seem way too close together? Besides being a nice photo op, is there a point to being that jammed together in a straight line? I would think should something fail on one of the ships, it doesn't leave you a whole lot of move for an evasive maneuver.
"This is the same US intelligence community that couldn't find WMDs in Iraq"
Since you are getting all political, did you also notice the 25% unemployment in Spain? What good do fast train do when 1/4 of the populace doesn't have enough money to ride them.
I see a 4 minute video, which is probably taken from a 10-15 minute flight time. Which is a very normal flight time. I don't see what the big deal is here. But if you like, show me the $1500 battery need to fly for 15 minutes in a Phantom, when the stock battery is capable of easy 20 minute flight times.
Maybe at one point in time you knew FPV costs, but you are way off base now. What on earth batteries and controller are you using that could cost $3500? You can tell from the first few seconds of video the guy is using a Phantom Transmitter, so I assume he is using something like a Vision 2+. So total setup should…
Too bad it is not America's best looking car, yet alone SRT's best looker.
Shouldn't facts be "highly regarded" no matter what the subject matter?
You should have ran that headline by your friends over at Jalopnik first, because that is no Humvee.
As long as it is not for a commercial business there is still no issue with it. However the memo does aim to restrict hobby aircraft to LOS flying, so FPV is now not allow.
If both cars are going slower (25mph) then there shouldn't be any increase in rear ending as opposed to both cars going faster (40mph). I really don't see how there is going to be a change here.
The bill isn't designed to reduce rear-ending events, so I don't see what that has to do with anything.
That is all really interesting. Flying quadcopters for fun, I am fairly familiar with all types of interference, though by no means to your level. Out of curiosity, for the machinery you deal with, do you analyze the spectrum environment and make adjustments for each piece of machinery? Or do just design a machine…
